Filters

Delete tweets extension filters, action by action

Filters decide what a run touches, and they differ by action. Keyword fields accept commas or spaces between words, the exact-phrase field is matched literally, and matching ignores capitals everywhere.

  • How many. Set a maximum for the run, or tick delete all.
  • Type. Original tweets, replies, retweets, or any combination.
  • Keywords. All keywords, any keyword, or an exact phrase.
  • Date range. A start date, an end date, or both.
  • Engagement. Replies, retweets, and likes each take a more-than or fewer-than test with a number you choose.

The run

You size it, watch it, and can stop it

Start a run and a new tab opens on X where the action works through matching posts one at a time. The extension paces itself, spacing actions out the way a person would, because X rate-limits rapid automation. The caps you set, and the fact that it all happens in your own logged-in session are how the tool is built to protect the account it runs on.

    The extension acts inside the X login you already have. TweetStorm never receives your X password or any account access; your extension key only meters usage against your plan.

Setup

From install to first run in six steps

STEP 1

Install the extension

Add it from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons. The Chrome build also covers Edge, Brave and Opera.

Create your TweetStorm account

Sign up free or log in if you already have an account.

Copy your extension key

Open Profile, scroll to Extension API Key, and copy it.

Open the extension popup, paste the key, and save. Enter your X handle when it asks.

Pick an action

Choose one of the six bulk actions from the dropdown. Its filters appear with it.

Set your filters and start

Choose your filters, set how many posts the run may touch, and start it. A new tab opens on X and the counter begins.

Troubleshooting

If Firefox shows "No Credits Available"

If a bulk action reports "No Credits Available" while your plan still has usage left, the cause is usually the extension popup being open in the same tab where the run is working. Open the popup from a different tab instead, and the run reads your allowance correctly.
