X (Twitter) Bookmark Manager

Import your whole bookmark library, file it into nested folders and smart folders, and find any post in seconds.

No card required.

Then sync with the browser extension

  • First 500 bookmarks free
  • Pre-built smart folders on every plan
  • Search every saved post's text

Organize X (Twitter) bookmarks into a searchable library

TweetStorm's X bookmark manager imports every post you've saved, files it into folders, tags, and smart folders, and finds any of them with one search. Bookmarks sync from X automatically through the browser extension, and your saved copy stays in your TweetStorm's library even when the original post disappears.

X gives you one long bookmark list with a basic text search: no filters by author or date, no tags, and folders only if you pay for X Premium. Past a few hundred saved posts, scrolling is the only way back to anything.

Features

Everything X bookmarks should have done

Four tools that turn a flat bookmark list into a structured knowledge base.

Smart folders that file themselves

Set a rule once and matching posts drop in on every sync. File by author, by tag, or by a keyword rule that combines them. Pre-built smart folders are included on every plan, the free one too.

Smart folder rule filing a new bookmark by author and tag automatically

Nested folders

Build a folder tree that mirrors how you actually research and think (paid plans, up to 3 levels).

Tags across folders

Tag one post with as many labels as you want. A single bookmark can live in several topics at once, with no duplicates.

Full-text search

Full-text search on paid plans and keywords text search for free plan. Paid plans also filter by author, date, tags, and engagement to pull up the thread from six months ago in one query.

How organizing works

Three ways to organize, working together

Use one layer or all three. Most people start with folders and add smart folders once they know what they save most.

Smart folders

Rule-based folders that fill themselves on every sync. Pre-built ones are included on every plan, the free one too.

Tags

Cross-folder labels so one post can sit in many topics at once. 5 tags free; no tag limit on paid plans.

Search

Find any saved post in seconds

Search the text of every bookmark on any plan. Paid plans narrow results with filters X doesn't have:

  • tags
  • author
  • year
  • date range
  • read status
  • likes
  • retweets
  • replies
  • views

Sort results by views, likes, retweets, or replies to resurface the post that mattered, not just the one you saved last. Saved a post you can't find because you never bookmarked it? Advanced Tweet Search covers the rest of X.

Why it helps

Stop losing the posts you saved

Find anything fast

Everything you saved is indexed and searchable, so a bookmark you made months ago is one query away.

Save hours of sorting

Smart folders sort incoming bookmarks the moment they sync. Build the rules once and the filing runs itself.

Build a knowledge base

Turn scattered saves into a structured library for research, writing, or competitive work.

Your copy survives

Your bookmarks live in TweetStorm, not just on X. If the original post is deleted, your saved copy stays readable.

Archive without deleting

Move older bookmarks to the archive to keep your main view clean. Deleting is your call: from TweetStorm alone, or from X along with it.

Export it all

Export single bookmarks or your whole library as JSON, CSV, Markdown, PDF, PNG, or a media ZIP. X has no bookmark export at all. Available on the Agency plan.

Setup

Set up in under two minutes

STEP 1

Create your account

Create a free account or log in. Under a minute, no card.

TweetStorm.ai login screen with options to sign in via Twitter, Google or email and password.
STEP 2

Install the extension

Get it for Chrome or Firefox. Be signed in to X and TweetStorm first; that's the whole setup. No API keys, no configuration. On install, the extension opens your X bookmarks page and imports your entire bookmark history into your dashboard.

STEP 3

Organize your library

Tag bookmarks from each bookmark card's menu; the pre-built smart folders start sorting new saves from day one.

STEP 4

Add your own structure

On Pro and Agency, build nested folders and write smart-folder rules (by author, by tag, or an advanced rule combining author, keyword, and tag) that file matching bookmarks on every sync.

Four ways your bookmarks stay in sync

On install: the extension fetches your entire bookmark history the moment you add it.

When you bookmark: each new bookmark on X lands in TweetStorm in real time given that the extension is installed in the browser.

When you remove one: un-bookmarking on X removes it from TweetStorm too.

On demand: a Sync Bookmarks button in the dashboard, and one injected into X's own bookmarks page, re-syncs everything anytime.

On your phone, where extensions can't run, paid plans back up bookmarks through the official X API: 3 syncs a month on Pro (latest 50 posts each), 5 on Agency (latest 100).

The difference

X bookmarks vs the TweetStorm Bookmark Manager

X gives you a single list and keyword search. Here is what changes when your bookmarks live in TweetStorm.

CapabilityX bookmarksTweetStorm
SearchKeyword onlyFull-text, plus filters by author, date, tags, engagement
FoldersFlat, Premium onlyNested up to 3 levels deep (paid plans)
Auto-sortingNoneSmart folders file by author, tag, or rule
TagsNone5 free, unlimited on paid plans
Survives a deleted postNoYour saved copy stays
ExportNoneJSON, CSV, Markdown, PDF, PNG, media ZIP (Agency)

If you save fewer than a few hundred posts and already pay for Premium, X's folders may be enough. Past that point, you need search filters, auto-filing, and a copy X can't delete.

Who uses it

Built for people who save more than they scroll

Researchers and writers

Keep studies, threads, and sources in nested folders, then search instantly when it is time to write.

Social media managers

Archive competitor campaigns and winning formats into client folders. Smart folders keep each client's collection filling itself between syncs.

Founders and investors

Build a private library of market signals and founder advice, cross-referenced with tags.

Sports fans

Collect posts from favorite accounts or hashtags into dedicated folders so match news stays in one place.

Tech and AI followers

Auto-gather posts tagged AI, GPT, or LLM into one smart folder and keep up without sorting by hand.

Saved posts can become your next post. Open the AI tweet generator's remix tool, pick any saved bookmark as the source, and rewrite it in your own voice with voice cloning, then queue it with the tweet scheduler. Your bookmarks stop being an archive and start being a content pipeline.

Privacy and safety

Your bookmarks stay yours

Your bookmarks sync to your private TweetStorm account and are visible only to you. The browser extension reads your X bookmarks so it can import and keep them in sync, and nothing else. It works inside your own browser session: it never asks for your X password, and there are no API keys to configure.

Deleting a bookmark in TweetStorm removes it from TweetStorm. You can also choose to remove it from X at the same time, which the extension handles for you. Either way, you stay in control of what is saved and what is gone. And if you leave, disable or remove the extension and syncing stops; on Agency, export your whole library first and take it with you.
